Admissions Criteria for Intensive In-Home Services:
- At risk of an out-of-home placement due to abuse, neglect, emotional, behavioral, substance abuse or mental health difficulties
- Transitioning back into the community from a residential placement, psychiatric hospitalization, group home, foster care or correctional placement.
- Have difficulty in establishing or maintaining normal interpersonal relationships to such a degree that they are at risk of hospitalization, incarceration, homelessness or isolation from social supports
- Exhibits such inappropriate behavior that repeated interventions by mental health, social services, or department of juvenile justice are necessary
- Displays difficulty in their cognitive ability such that they are unable to recognize personal danger or recognize significantly inappropriate social behavior
- At least one adult guardian is willing to participate in services
- Requires services more intensive than traditional outpatient therapy offers
